About this Product

!00% cotton, machine washable, adjustable neck strap, tie waist,. This one of a kind, fantastical, apron is reminisce of "Alice in Wonderland" with a slice of flaming watermelon, a steaming cup of hot cocoa, and ice-cream sundae, getting along swimingly with the dapperly dressed ocean dwellers, as a ginormous whale splashes his tail above. They seem not to notice.

Meet the Maker

Greetings and thank you for joining me on the adventure I am undertaking. I have been gifting and donating my artisan attire for some time now, honing my craft, and dreaming of reaching more people with my good energy colors. I am a semi-retired school teacher, living in a tiny town in Oregon with my dog Pete, and finding new passions in life. I fell in love with the art of dying, learning everything I can through experience and collaboration, about this very deep and complex art. How different colors react to different fabrics, how temperature and time play in, what colors like each other and how they travel and fasten when applied, so many fascinating elements I never would have IMAGINED.

How it’s Made

Trust the Process, she said…………….and so I did.

After handwashing my garments in organic soap and drying them on the line in my garden, I get them ready for dye.  Sometimes I have designs in my head, or sketched in my notes, often I am filling an custom order. This time, I was inspired by a first grade student who told a story to the class about his experience over the weekend. Kid's imaginations are delightful, I do believe.
