The Guitar Series is limited making it even more special to that musician friend or relative, or for yourself! I will be making five different colored Guitar Geode shirts. I will fill orders for these shirt until the end of the year only. This is the last of the five and perhaps the greatest. With burnt rainbow colors, the classic guitar design on the front, the shirt also boasts a 16 point Mandela on the back.

Here at Tie Dye Revolution, we have been donating and gifting our wares as we learn and hone the skill of dying, more specifically Ice Dying, While we carry on with our altruistic endeavors, we spread our wings take a leap of faith embarking on this new journey called retail, e-commerce, sales. With the revenue we generate we can continue to give to others and grown our artistic souls. My sister has joined me and together, we are eagerly, and with passion, sprouting this business. We look forward to the adventure and all that comes our way while we give it our all. Watch for specials, new items, and collections as our inventory is growing quickly. No two tie dyes are alike but they are all brimming with character as I experiment with the latest products and techniques.
Meet the Maker
Greetings and thank you for joining me on the adventure I am undertaking. I have been gifting and donating my artisan attire for some time now, honing my craft, and dreaming of reaching more people with my good energy colors. I am a semi-retired school teacher, living in a tiny town in Oregon with my dog Pete, and finding new passions in life. I fell in love with the art of dying, learning everything I can through experience and collaboration, about this very deep and complex art. How different colors react to different fabrics, how temperature and time play in, what colors like each other and how they travel and fasten when applied, so many fascinating elements I never would have IMAGINED.
How it’s Made
The shirts are hand washed and hung to dry. Guitars are draw on the shirt and then tied with sinew. Dye is sprinkled over the tied shirt before covering it in ice. As the ice melts, the dyes are carried through the fibers of the shirt, separating, and holding on. After 24 hours, the shirt is untied, rinsed thoroughly, and admired by myself and my sister, deciding weather it belongs in the limited collection or not. Once joining the Guitar collection, it is washed, dried, ironed and posted. This particular shirt has another gem of a feature; the 16 point Mandela on the back side. Check it out!
