Tie Dye Revolution
Meet the Maker
Greetings and thank you for joining me on the adventure I am undertaking. I have been gifting and donating my artisan attire for some time now, honing my craft, and dreaming of reaching more people with my good energy colors. I am a semi-retired school teacher, living in a tiny town in Oregon with my dog Pete, and finding new passions in life. I fell in love with the art of dying, learning everything I can through experience and collaboration, about this very deep and complex art. How different colors react to different fabrics, how temperature and time play in, what colors like each other and how they travel and fasten when applied, so many fascinating elements I never would have IMAGINED.
How it’s Made
Hand dyed in a variety of colors and designs. I use hemostats to create intricate mandalas, every one is different. I started making these as a donation to animal shelters, as an adoption perk. I started wearing them in the garden, the hay fields, and in the kitchen. This batch I made just for this site.
